The MIXVibes Provides MIDI Software with the Cross Version providing HID and timecode vinyl CD’s. This software, Excellent Pre-set features. Samplers work very similiar to the Traktor. MixVibes is mapped out of the box, sound card settings are extensive and fantastic management software that comes with a match facility. It does all your key control/detection as well with a Camelot wheel. Scratch mode platter as usual, white clock to indicate sync. plenty of flexibility, this software has It all. Pitch/Time isn’t the greatest but Pitch/Time is usually an add on so as far as doing most of the fundamentals this software really gets us.
8| DEX 3
A newer platform Dex utilizes hosting Kareoke which it’s main distinctive feature . It will dynamically resize displays and uses a large individual preview screen. The DEX has elements that Serato, Traktor, Ableton and other bigger software brands may have overlooked. The video link feature allows you to select directory of videos, stock footage, which the link will activate for seamless mixing so you can always have something shown on the screen. Also auto linking video to audio tracks is a really helpful option so in our opinion, DEX is worth checking out.
